the human mind thinks more than it should
but we let it run wild
cause of fear
listing out every single negative possibility
and feeling happy
if we can strike off even one
but our assumptions might be wrong
even when we are so sure of them
cause no matter what
its still not the truth
we continue searching for likely reasons
we spend our day thinking about it
even if it hurts
and at the end of the day
we are drained
and charged with sadness
and the worst thing is, theres no switch to turn your mind off when youre conscious
leading a life of pretence
showing that you dont give a damn
acting nonchalent
aint it tiring
aint it hurting
it sure is
but we want to hide
we dont want to show our weaknesses
we are afraid of being exposed
and our vulnerability let known
we want to look strong
but in front of our closest
will they not know that we are down
and broken inside
they know for sure
they care and want to help
it hurts them so to see us sad
and often we say "i cant"
but the truth is we dont want to try
let go if you have to
you know whats the best
its whether you want it or not
try if you think you should
dont live on carrying regrets
our lives are so fragile so
do what you think you should
and dont regret afterward
be happy that you tried
its better than not trying and never knowing
and picturing the positive outcomes after that
theres no point
and you may think what you want is the best
tho it may not be
and yeah, go for it
but if it turns out bad
dont let yourself sink
cause
we are bound to meet a few wrong people
before we meet the right one
so that we will treasure the right one
we can be truly happy if we want to
we can choose whats the best tho it hurts
and be over it
we can take our time getting over
dont push yourself
theres no point forcing yourself
cause you'll break down again
and when that happens
it will be multiple times more painful
the route that is the best will lead to happiness in the end
we are made to be happy
the sadness, hurt and pain that we experience
are but processes that happen to mould us
true happiness lies right in front of you
whether you want to make the effort to run to it
depends all on you.
